Street Sweeping

          Residents may see temporary No Parking signs along some streets with times and days to be swept.  Sweeper breakdowns or inclement weather may cause some rescheduling or delays. 

 

          Any residents wishing to sweep their streets before the sweeper arrives may sweep anti-skid into piles in front of their property for pickup by the city workers.  Please call the City Maintenance Center from 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Monday through Friday to give locations of the anti-skid piles or paper biodegradable bags of leaves to be picked up during spring clean-up. 

 

          The City of Franklin Street Division will be street sweeping on two shifts.  A weekly schedule will be posted in every Saturday’s News Herald.
