Paper Biodegradable Bag Leaf Pick Up  

The City of Franklin Street Department begins paper biodegradable bag leaf pick-up annually on the second Monday of October.  Residents may put their filled leaf bags along their front yard near the street for pick-up by the Street personnel.  Bag leaf pick-up is every Monday and Friday through leaf season. City crews will only pick up paper biodegradable bags.  City Hall does NOT have the leaf bags for sale, but they can be purchased at many local stores. 

Vacuum Leaf Pick Up 

The vacuum machine leaf pick-up begins the latter part of October with a weekly schedule posted on the web site and in the News Herald every Saturday.
