Code Enforcement
The mission of the Code Enforcement Office is to promote and maintain a desirable community in which to live and work, by administering a fair and unbiased enforcement of municipal codes and land use requirements.
Responsibilities Include:

Conduct building and property inspections

Act as the city Building Code Official in all aspects of permitting and enforcement

Issue Building Permits

Issue Municipal Permits
-
Ensure that land uses are in zoning compliance with the Franklin Zoning Ordinance

Address and accept Zoning Hearing applications
-
Serve as a member of the Historical Architectural Review Board

Work with and assist other public service agencies and city departments
-
Serve as the City of Franklin's Fair Housing Officer
- Oversee the health inspection and licensing process
