City of Franklin Street Sweeping Schedule For the week of May 11th through May 15th 2026
A weekly schedule will be posted in every Saturday’s News Herald.

1st Shift- 7am-3pm
Park St. Both Sides South Park St.
Even Side, Otter to Liberty St. West Park St.
Even Side, End to Liberty St. 12th St.
Even Side, Buffalo to Pearl St.
Date: Thursday May 14th
1st Shift-- 7am-3pm
South Park St. Odd Side, Liberty to Otter St.
West Park St. Odd Side, Liberty to Otter St.

Myrtle St. Both Sides, 12th to 14th St.
Residents may see temporary No Parking signs along some streets with times and days to be swept. Sweeper breakdowns or inclement weather may cause some rescheduling or delays. Any residents wishing to sweep their streets before the sweeper arrives may sweep anti-skid into piles in front of their property for pickup by the city workers. Please call the City Maintenance Center from 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. (814) 437-1600 Monday through Friday to give locations of the anti-skid piles or paper biodegradable bags of leaves to be picked up during spring clean-up.
