Boat Launch to Close for Repairs

The City of Franklin's Third Street Boat Launch will be temporarily closed beginning Monday, October 27, 2025, and will remain closed until approximately Friday, November 21, 2025.  During this time, the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission will be making repairs and constructing a new concrete boat ramp.

While closed, boaters can access the Allegheny River at the Oil City Marina located near the intersection of Wyllis Street and West Front Street.

The City of Franklin and the PA Fish and Boat Commission thanks the public for their patience and understanding as these improvements are completed.
