INVITATION FOR BIDS - Bid for CDBG Funded Playground Fence Replacement
The City of Franklin will receive bids for CDBG Fence Replacement at the Community Development Dept., Room 211, City Hall, 430 – 13th Street, Franklin, PA 16323, until 2:00 PM prevailing time on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at which time the bids will be opened and read. Work is described in general but is not limited to demolition of existing fencing, disposal, and erection of new steel fencing. The new fence encircling the playground will include solid posts, as well as multiple gates. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the project site on Wednesday, June 25,2025 at 10 AM. Interested bidders are encouraged to visit the site prior to submitting a bid.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a firm-fixed-price basis. Qualifications of the Bidder will be reviewed before the Award of the Contract. Bids may be held by the City for up to 60 days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities, or to negotiate contract amounts.

Bids will only be received from bidders who obtain bidding documents from the City’s Issuing Office and are on the plan holder’s list.
